Independent Living Options
Independent Living at MYS (ILO) is a program devoted to preparing young male and female adults that have lived most of their lives in foster care, to become productive members of the community, by leading self-sufficient lives independent of “State” support.
ILO Services
A team approach is utilized. Every young adult in ILO is assigned a Case Manager, trained and certified, to provide the most effective and efficient services. Each youth receives an individualized assessment and treatment plan. This plan is uniquely tailored to propel them toward their independence and to achieve their permanency goals of independence.
Hours of Operation
The youth in this program resides in scattered housing throughout the Chicagoland area. The Independent Living Option Program operates out of the corporate offices of MYS at 954 W.
